After his internship in a well-known legal practice, Jérôme PICOT completed the attorney exam in 1998 and then worked in a large insurance company. He has practised as an independent lawyer in Geneva since 2001. He is particularly involved in representing Swiss and international clients before the judiciary (criminal, civil and administrative).
Prior to his legal career, he was assistant to the Chair of Employment and Social Security Law in the Faculty of Law at the University of Geneva. As part of his DES, he was particularly interested in the issue of transfer by asset managers/traders from one institution (assets and customers) to another.
Jérôme PICOT is currently undertaking specialisation in the field of commodities (oil and gas) and shipping.
